Farm-to-Car Terms of Service:

All items purchased with credit card will be charged on Monday evenings after the shop closes at 6pm.

Each order you place is a legally enforceable contract. If you fail to pickup your order on Wednesdays in the event of an emergency, a $10 late fee will be charged for alternative pick up arrangements.

We will inspect all orders prior to distribution. In the event that product gets damaged during packing, we will provide a store credit to the customer, provided that the damaged goods are returned.

Please let us know right away if something was missing from your order!

Our goal is to provide the highest quality produce, and we require our producer to deliver market-grade products. The customer understands that since our farmers do not use pesticides or herbicides, fruits and vegetables may not look "perfect".

ALL ABOUT SNAP

Hoʻōla Farms is thrilled to announce that Hawaiʻi Farm-to-Car has been approved to participate in the USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP-EBT) program starting on February 9th, 2022!

Qualified customers can now pay for SNAP-eligible products with their Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card when they pick up their orders.

Most Hawaiʻi Farm-to-Car products are eligible for SNAP purchase, including fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, milk, eggs, cheese, baked goods, breads, cereals, cold (already-prepared) takeout foods, snacks, beverages, jams, jellies, honey, condiments, and—don’t forget—seeds and plants that produce foods or spices!

If you'd like to pay by SNAP, please make sure to read through these steps:

  1. To view all SNAP-eligible products, click on ‘Attributes’ on the left side of the shopping page and then select ‘SNAP Eligible’.

  2. Once you have filled your cart make sure to CONFIRM YOUR ORDER.

  3. Upon confirmation, enter a valid credit card. Your credit card will be charged on Monday night for any NON SNAP-eligible items in your order and the $2 pick up fee.

  4. Each week you MUST select your preferred payment method at checkout. It's critical that your preferred payment method accurately reflects how you intend to pay for your SNAP-eligible items that week. If you want to pay with SNAP, select SNAP/EBT (if you have Credit Card selected, we will charge your entire order to your credit card on Monday night as usual and we won't be able to use your SNAP card on Wednesday).

  5. Don’t forget to bring your SNAP card with you to pick up your order! We will run your card onsite and you will need to enter your PIN to complete the transaction.

  6. *If you place an order but do not come to pick it up or make other arrangements, your credit card on file will be charged.
